Cycling the nitrogen in your aquarium.
3. Complete the Nitrogen Cycle for Aquarium
A) We recommend using nitrifying bacterial solutions available in pet stores. Follow the instruction on the bottle.
B) During the cycling process, we recommend continuously circulating water in your garden to oxygenate the bacteria.
C) Once nitrites decrease and approach zero, and nitrates appear and reach 5 to 10 ppm, you can introduce plants (see the section on choosing plants).
Sowing the seeds of desired vegetables or placing plants with roots from which the soil has been removed into the clay pellets.
4. Sow or Plant

4. Sow or Plant
When your nitrogen cycle is completed: continue to add nitrifying bacteria to the aquarium over a period of 2 weeks to allow time for your new plants to develop roots. To sow, simply mix your seeds with the surface of the clay pellets for vegetables, fruits, or flowers. For mature plants simply remove as much soil as possible and plant them in the clay pebbles.
Introducing the fish.
5. Introduce the Fish
Once your new seeds have developed roots, typically around 75% of your bins, you can introduce the fish. With mature plants, immediately following the completion of the nitrogen cycle, you can place your fish into the aquarium.
