Summary 
Learn how to grow a tree from its seed and how to plant it outdoors in this hands-on  workshop. Discover the best soil types for optimal outdoor growth, and gain insights into  tree maintenance. Understand the role of deciduous trees in improving our planet,  particularly their impact on lowering temperatures. Each participant will leave with a young  tree ready to be planted outside. 

Instructional Format:

• Presentation: Introduction to growing trees from seeds, including the benefits of  different soil types and the essential care required for outdoor trees.
• Demonstration: Techniques for planting the tree outdoors, and how to maintain it for  healthy growth.
• Participant Involvement: Each participant will take home a small tree to plant outside,  along with instructions for its planting and care.
