This workshop will guide you through the steps of planting, maintaining, and harvesting to ensure a successful strawberry yield. You will also learn how to create new strawberry plants from runners.
Instructional Format:
- Presentation: Introduction to strawberries, their specific needs, and the benefits of growing them in an aquaponics garden, in pots at home, or in an outdoor garden.
- Demonstration: Techniques for planting strawberries in the aquaponics garden, as well as in outdoor gardens or pots. Explanation of how to create new strawberry plants from runners.
- Participant Involvement: Each participant will leave with a strawberry runner to plant in a pot for their office or home, along with instructions for planting and caring for it.
Number of participants: 30 participants max.
